Our Policies

We strive to keep our customers 100% satisfied with our service at all times. However, we do have to comply with many policies, procedures, and regulations of our own. So please read and understand our company policies before placing an order.

Legal Notice

The products sold on Fred Beans Parts are not legal for "highway" usage unless noted otherwise. Please check your local laws regarding such use in your state. We are not responsible for failure to comply with Local, State, or Federal laws regarding motor vehicles. We also recommend professional installation by a licensed mechanic for all products we sell.

Product Availability Statement

All products on Fred Beans Parts are noted with a general shipping ETA in order to give you a good idea of when your order will ship out. However, Backorders, referrals, and other issues can, and do occur from time to time. Sometimes products do become discontinued as well. These instances are beyond our control, therefore we are not be resposible if this occurs. If your order will not be shipping out in the specified time frame noted on the website, you will be notified via email, or telephone. From there, we will hold the order until further notified by you (the customer) to either continue with the order despite the delay, or cancel the order. If we do not receive a response within 72 hours, we will cancel the order.

Return / Cancellation Policy

All returns/cancellations are at the sole discretion of Fred Beans Parts. No returns, or cancellations are accepted once an order is shipped. We enforce this policy to keep from filling our shelves with products that customers decided they didn't want, didn't like, or simply changed their mind about purchasing. If a representative authorizes a return, you will be subject to a 10% restocking / processing fee - less shipping costs. This also includes a shipment being refused. We strive to be 100% accurate 100% of the time. But mistakes do happen. So if you receive a defective product, meaning: missing parts / not the item you ordered / wrong color / etc., you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. We will take the steps necessary to retrieve the defective item, and get you a replacement. Shipping Fees are non-refundable when a product is being returned. Damaged products are explained below.

Sales Tax

A 6% PA sales tax is in effect for customers purchasing products at our retail counter, as well as for residents of PA placing online orders. Customers who live outside of the state of PA are exempt from paying tax.

International Orders

Fred Beans Parts will fill Non U.S. Orders on a case by case basis. You must contact us prior to placing your order online. If you place a non U.S. order online without contacting us ahead of time, your order will be cancelled & refunded automatically within 5 business days. Any and all exchange rate fees / charges, etc are not the responsibilty of Fred Beans Parts, & are beyond our control. For all international orders, Fred Beans Parts will only accept verified paypal payments (in US dollars) Fred Beans Parts does not accept credit cards from any non-US resident. The Address Verification System (AVS) we utilize does not work with non-US banks, therefore we cannot verify the card holders address or name (no matter how many forms of identification you propose to send to us). More importantly we have no recourse with international fraud. For these reasons Fred Beans Parts will under no circumstances take any form of payment other than a verified paypal payment (in US dollars) All international orders must have an order value of over $500 for us to process. Fred Beans Parts ships internationally with UPS and USPS. We will quote you the lowest shipping costs from these couriers. When dealing with customs, Fred Beans Parts will not mark down invoices, declare packages as a gift, warranty replacement, etc.

Shipping & Damages

Fred Beans Parts ships via UPS exclusively, unless it is a "freight item" i.e.- engine assembly, body panel, etc. We do not accept requests to ship using other providers for whatever reason. All orders will be shipped to the customers billing address only! We verify each and every order with an address verification system. If you provide us with a shipping address that is not verifiable, or does not match your billing address, we will cancel your order! If you need an order shipped to a place other then your billing address, you'll need to contact us ahead of time to provide us with the information necessary to verify that the address requested is an Authorized Shipping Address with your Credit Card company. Please note: If you do not contact us ahead of time to request a different shipping address, we reserve the right to ship directly to your billing address or cancel the order. Please understand we enforce this policy to protect our customers against fraud. You can opt to pick-up your order if you live locally. If you would prefer to pick your order up, please call in before, placing your order to ensure the items your purchasing are readily available.

Chemicals are required to ship ground, no exceptions. If you select any express shipment for chemical products, we will credit the difference and ship the order ground.

Ground shipments do not carry a guaranteed time in transit and Fred Beans Parts cannot be held accountable for delays in transit.

If your item is damaged upon receipt, please notify us of the damage immediately. If the package arrives in questionable condition, please open the item on the spot, and refuse the shipment if possible. Should you have elected to insure your order during checkout, We will file a damage claim with the carrier for your product, and we can re-issue you a replacement immediately. If you did not choose to elect to insure your order during checkout & your order is damaged upon receipt we are only able to reimburse you up to $100.00, or apply up to $100.00 towards a replacement product for you

UPS picks up M-F daily. But please note that UPS does not pick up on holidays, nor the day before in cases like Christmas and New Years.


Tracking information is emailed directly to you as soon as the order is processed, packaged, and scanned by the delivery carrier. The email is sent to the customer supplied email address. Please allow approximately 12 hours after receiving the email for the tracking information to process, before it will register correctly. The email will instruct you on how to track your shipment.


Prices are always subject to change without notice. Pricing errors are not the responsibility of Fred Beans Parts. If a pricing error occurs, we will either refund the transaction in full or give you the option to pay the correct price.


Fred Beans Parts practices "price-matching". If you find an item advertised for less before placing your order, contact us with proof of the lower price & Fred Beans Parts will meet, or beat the price if possible.

Warranty Statement

All OEM Parts & Accessories sold by Fred Beans Parts carry a 12 Month Replacemt Warranty - with the exception of: Wearable Items ( Brake Components, Clutch Components, etc ) & Major Moving Parts ( Engine's, Transmissions, etc ) As there are too many variables beyond our control that could lead to premature part failure (driving habits, installer error, improper break-in procedures, modifications to the vehicle, etc )
Most Aftermarket Parts carry similar Warranties as well ( please visit the specific manufacturer's website for more details on each product line ) and Fred Beans Parts will honor their warranty in house whenever possible to get you a replacement fast! In some cases this is not possible, but we will not automatically direct you to deal with the manufacturer directly if it can be handled on our end.
Labor / installation fees are only covered by Fred Beans Parts if your part(s) are purchased & installed at our facility. Fred Beans Parts is not responsible for any labor / installation fees if the service is performed by any other installer.
